Ministry of Culture and National Heritage grant for the Heritage Academy for Ukraine project

We are glad to inform you that the training project of the Heritage Academy for Ukraine was granted a subsidy from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage as a part of the Inspiring Culture 2023-2024 project.

The Heritage Academy for Ukraine is a 5-day seminary conducted in Krakow and other cities of Małopolskie voivodeship. Its topics include good practices for heritage management in Poland. This project is addressed to the cultural sector specialists from Ukraine and is aimed to elevate their professional competence. In 2023, we concluded its first pilot edition.

The idea of this project implementation was born as a result of the ICC dialogue with Ukrainian cultural sector representatives, especially the Ministry of Culture and Informational Politics of Ukraine. During the training, a strong emphasis will be put on gaining the practical skills of funds acquiring, including EU funds.

The project value is 70,000 PLN, of which 50,000 PLN came from a grant. The strategic partner of the project is “Ancient Zvenyhorod” – the communal institution of the Regional Council of Lviv.
