4th Edition

Fellowship time: 2nd May – 31st July 2011

The International Cultural Centre in Krakow is privileged to present the final results of the first 2011 call for applications for the Thesaurus Poloniae fellowship, programme of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of the Republic of Poland. Out of 47 applications The Evaluation Commission of the programme decided to award three Senior and three Junior Grants.
Once again we are pleased to host in Krakow a group of six researchers. Moreover, we would like to express our content resulting from a very high level of applications as well as from the growing interest in the programme. The new fellows are:

Ayla Ağayeva, Centre of Polish Language and Culture, Baku Slavic University, Baku, Azerbaijan.
Junior Grant: Project concerns the research on Polish ethnography as well as preparing a guidebook on Polish ethnography, the first one in Azeri language.

Tetiana Kovalchuk, National University „Ostrog Academy”, Ostrog, Ukraine.
Junior Grant: Project concerns the history of the tourist industry in Volhynia Region during the Second Republic of Poland.

Ekaterina Kuzavleva, I. G. Petrovsky Bryansk State University, Russian Federation.
Junior Grant: Project concerns the politics of history as well as the post 1991 rise of the national identity in Eastern and Central Europe.
 
Dr Valentin Constantinov, Tiraspol State University, Chisinau, Moldova Republic.
Senior Grant: Project concerns the research on history of the influence of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth  on Moldova during the 16th and 17th c.

Dr hab. Jan Sucháček, VŠB Technical University of Ostrava, Czech Republic.
Senior Grant: The aim of the project is to complete the monograph research concerning the European integration and its influence on the spatial development in Poland as well as various case studies in different member states. 

Dr Bela Tsipuria, Ilia State University, Tbilisi, Georgia.
Senior Grant: Project concerns the issue of the Soviet ideology impact on culture as well as anti-Soviet resistance expressed in national literature in relation to Polish culture.
